A stick figure wearing team radio headsets with a boom microphone, the Dutch Brothers Racing illustration for Andy Boux.

Andy Boux is Team Principal and Driver Coach at Dutch Brothers Racing, and the one member of the team who has done this before.

Born in Sharjah, he has worked across the GCC, Europe and Asia. His background is motorsport: driving programmes for major automotive manufacturers and teams, marketing and PR on the manufacturer side, and driver and response training delivered for governments. He raced internationally as a teenager, has worked as a development driver, and has instructed on international drive programmes.

He came to DBR through a mutual friend of Jon's. Alan brought him the idea, and together they wrote the road map that turned it into a team. He now runs race weekends, coaches both drivers, and handles the sponsorship, logistics and operations that surround all of it.

From the pit wall, he is here to see Jon and Alan compete, and finish, at a professional level. DBR makes its Gulf ProCar debut on 24 October 2026, with the Gulf 12 Hours in 2028 the longer-term ambition.
